Farewell Magic Coffee Hair!
I launched Magic Coffee Hair eight years ago. It’s been a great run. My main goals were to create good cartoons, find a therapeutic outlet for myself, and provide some laughs to a weary world, and I’ve accomplished all three.
But I’ve always wanted to do other creative things as well, and for that reason I am retiring Magic Coffee Hair Cartoons and launching Jim Shoenbill (me) Comic Designs.
Don’t worry, the cartoons aren’t going away- I hope to create as many as ever. But in addition, I am opening up new mediums for the various non-cartoon ideas that bounce through my head.
The new site is www.jimshoenbill.com ! I’ve been working on it for over a year. I’ll post cartoons there, and it has a store of T-shirts and other products all created from my original ideas and designs. Everything there is unique, at least until it starts getting bootlegged around the internet. I’m also starting a newsletter/blog of comics, writing, product concepts and who knows what else.. I’m making this up as I go.
I don’t ask for much, but I could really use your support for the new endeavor. Please read, explore, share, and let me know what you think, and keep following me here, there, and/or on Instagram.
